Electronic reporting of W-2 information to Arkansas

• Enter and verify all 1099 data




• Enter the Submitter Information


• Click E-file Direct > Submitter Information
• Submitter information is person uploading the file
• Contact information is the Firm information preparing the 1099s



• Create the data file to upload


• Click E-file Direct > Create 1099/1098 Files > Create State 1099/1098 File and select Arkansas
• Select a submitter
• Upload file information is the name and location of the file being created. You will need this information to transfer the data to the CD/DVD.
• Click the [Create File] button to create the upload file.



• Submit file to Arkansas on CD/DVD


• Copy the file created above to a CD/DVD
• Include Form 1096 with each CD/DVD submission.
• Mail the CD/DVD to:
