Upload 1099 data file to Kansas

Registration is Required: You will need to have username and account with the Kansas Department of Revenue Customer Service Center.

• To Create a Username


• Click here to access the Kansas Customer Service Center https://www.kdor.ks.gov/apps/kcsc/login.aspx?
• Click on “Register Now” on the lower left side
• Enter the required information



• Enter and verify all 1099 data




• Enter the Submitter Information


• Click E-file Direct > Submitter Information
• Submitter information is person uploading the file
• Contact information is the Firm information preparing the 1099s



• Create the data file to upload


• Click E-file Direct > Create 1099/1098 Files > Create State 1099/1098 File and select Kansas
• Select a submitter
• Upload file information is the name and location of the file being created. You will need this information during the upload process.
• Click the [Create File] button to create the upload file.



• Upload the data file

• Enter Username and Password and click on “Sign In” on the Lower left side
