Upload W-2 data file to South Carolina
Registration is Required: You will need to have username and account with South Carolina MyDORWAY.
- To Create a Username
- Enter and verify all W2 data
- Enter the Submitter Information
- Click E-file Direct > Submitter Information
- Submitter information is person uploading the file
- Contact information is the Firm information preparing the W-2s
- Create the data file to upload
- Click E-file Direct > Create W-2 Files > Create State file and select South Carolina
- Select a submitter
- Upload file information is the name and location of the file being created. You will need this information during the upload process.
- Click the [Create File] button to create the upload file.
- Upload the data file
- Click here to access South Carolina MyDORWAY https://mydorway.dor.sc.gov/_/
- Enter your Username and Password and click on Log In on the right side
- Click the More tab on the account screen
- Click the Upload W-2s under Other on the right side
- Select Upload a File and click Next
- Click the Add Attachment link on the right side
- Enter a description for your file
- Click the Choose File button to browse and locate the file created with the W2/1099 Filer
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Review the summary page and Click Submit.
- Enter your Password and click OK
- Print or save the Confirmation screen
